March 10, 2010 • Andalucia, Sport • 0 Comments
WAYNE Rooney and a series of Premiership footballers are considering a multi-million pound lawsuit over a Costa del Sol investment.
Having already spent £50,000 Derby County’s Robbie Savage may pay lawyers up to £300,000 over the Monte Resina complex near Marbella.
Wealth management firm, Formation, stand accused of having vested interests in advice over the property purchases.
Premier League winner Jason Wilcox and former Leeds United star Brian Deane are also in talks with a Manchester law firm.
All four players bought luxury apartments in the complex just before the collpase of the Spanish property market collapsed.
Newly crowned England captain Rio Ferdinand also has a property on the complex but it is unknown whether he is comlpaining.
Formation say they will vigorously defend any claim against them.
