Travelodge mafia

The old adage of ‘one rule for one, and one rule for another’ has never been truer in Loma de Vera.
While the Priors’ modest one storey house – that had planning permission – was torn down a year ago, a kilometre away the ‘renovation’ of a tiny 80m cortijo turned into a four storey 420m monstrosity.
Dubbed locally as the ‘Travelodge’, this clearly illegal building will no doubt be saved from the chop by virtue of its owners – a Junta employee and his councillor wife!
