Flamenco spins over to the Big Apple

NEW York City is sampling the delights of Andalucian flamenco dancing as part of a February tour across the US.
The “extraordinarily sinuous” Sevilla-born Maria Pages, is performing her Autorretrato (self-portrait) at the NY City Center.
The Flamenco Festival, directed by Miguel Marin, internationally promotes and showcases flamenco and Spanish artists.
Flamenco is currently flourishing with each of Andalucia’s eight provinces promoting its own distinctive regional variation.
