Biutiful Bardem

JAVIER Bardem’s new film Biutiful has been nominated for the best foreign language film in the 2011 Golden Globe awards.

The film is a drama of family relations set in Barcelona’s shady underworld.

Its Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu is most known for his cult hit Amores Perros.

Although Bardem’s lead performance in Biutiful has been widely commended, he missed out on the Golden Globe’s best actor nomination.
