The Pride parade will take place on Saturday, June 6th, beginning at City Hall at 6pm and marching towards the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre.Â
There are 23 floats and 13 LGBTQ+ organisations featured in this year’s parade, with participants attending from across the Andalucia region.
While the main event takes place on June 6th, the entire week will hold different happenings.

Local artists and art collectives such as Rosalinda Gala, Kelly Roller, La Prohibida, and Danny Beard will make appearances throughout the week.
Drag queen performances are lined up to be headlined by Marcus Massalami and Ken Panada, featuring an appearance by the 5th winner of Spain’s Drag Race, Satin Greco.
Free performances will be headlined by Agoney, Alba Reche, and Miss Caffeina.

Torremolinos also plans to host a beach volleyball tournament, diversity treasure hunt, literary presentations and film screenings, and the very first ‘Rainbow Bike’ cycling tour.
Attendees can also take part in the Family Diversity Day and ‘Proud Pets’ contest, along with the annual race in high heels.
A recording of the popular podcast translated to ‘Let Heaven Judge Us’ will be recorded during pride week.

Torremolinos’ mayor Margarita del Cid was accompanied by Francisco Garcia to present the official event programme.Â
The mayor declared that Pride is part of the town’s identity, and that the week will express pride through culture, art and festive activities.
‘Torremolinos, and its people, is a land that embraces, a respectful, proud, welcoming, and tolerant city, a paradise where you can always be whatever you want to be,’ del Cid said during the programme announcement.

Spain is often ranked among one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly countries in Europe, with Madrid Pride (MADO) featured as the 3rd largest pride parade in the world.
Other upcoming pride events include Barcelona’s Pride! BCN, Sitges Gay Pride, and Maspalomas Pride in Gran Canaria.
