AS Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny prepares to start his sold-out Spain tour, Catalan authorities are warning fans to watch out for fake tickets.
The Catalan Cybersecurity Agency has warned fans hoping to secure last-minute tickets to Bad Bunny’s 12 Spain tour dates, which sold out within 24 hours, to be wary of online scams and fake ticket offers.
They say they have detected a scam which starts with an email claiming that more tickets have become available.
Would-be concertgoers are then directed to a website impersonating Live Nation with a URL containing the words ‘live’ and ‘nation’.
During the fake purchase process, users are shown what appears to be a legitimate seating map, a confirmation screen and even a bogus order number.
Victims of the scam then receive an email claiming the tickets will be delivered later for security reasons – a ploy that closely imitates genuine security procedures used by Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Some of the fake tickets are being sold for up to €300.
The agency warns ‘it’s all a scam’ and has urged those hunting for a last minute ticket to ensure they buy tickets through official channels and to verify a website’s domain before entering bank details.
Authorities also warn that ticket scams are being carried out through TikTok where fraudsters contact users directly to offer fake tickets.
Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny kicks off his sold-out Spanish tour on 22 May with two dates in Barcelona and ten in Madrid.
