A FILM production company has launched an open casting call for locals of all ages to work as extras in a new movie shooting in Tarifa.
Bruja del Oeste said they are ‘not looking for actors, but real people’ with no prior acting experience to take part in the upcoming cinematic shoot, which begins on October 12.
The project is confirmed to be a film, with the casting call offering locals a chance to experience how a movie is made up close.
A technical team is already on the ground preparing locations around the popular Cadiz coastal town ahead of the cameras rolling.
Filming will take place at well-known local spots including Playa Chica, the Casa de la Cultura cultural centre, the port and the Mercado Central de Abastos indoor market, Area Campo de Gibraltar report.
Various streets across Tarifa’s historic centre will also be used as backdrops for the production.
The plot of the film and the main actors involved have not yet been revealed.
Organisers have also kept quiet on exactly how many extras they need and how many days the filming will last.
