THERE was more bad news for disgraced nightlife magnate Tolo Cursach this week.
Megapark, marketed as Europe’s largest beer garden, will have its capacity slashed by almost half after a court found it was operating without the correct license.
The entertainment venue is owned by Cursach who was found guilty of seven counts of corruption in February.
During his trial it was discovered that Cursach had combined separate capacity licenses for a cafeteria and entertainment to allow more revellers into Megapark than the law allowed.
The Junta has ruled that Megapark must now cut its capacity down to 2,528 people.
It must only open one of two existing buildings for guests and demolish extensions to its original building after it was found that they were built illegally.
Megapark will also no longer be allowed to use its retractable roof or outdoor terraces.
Further blow for Cursach as Megapark capacity reduced by half
