Wind fame for Tarifa

ALREADY renowned for being a wind-energy pioneer Tarifa has unveiled a new green energy study centre and wind park.

Mayor Miguel Manella announced the plans amid hopes the town will become a national example of sustainable energy.

It is also hoped that town hall revenue will be bolstered through the sale of extra electricity.
