World’s biggest plane lands in Madrid

THE world’s largest commercial airliner, the double-decker Airbus A380, has arrived in Madrid for the first time.

Emirates Airlines has launched a new A380 route between Madrid and Dubai to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the airline’s arrival in Spain.

The plane has the capacity for 853 people if they are all in economy class.

Madrid is Emirates’ 35th A380 destination.
