A DESPERATE housing developer is offering a two-for-one offer on its homes.
Salsa Inmobiliaria is giving away a one-bedroom apartment on a golf complex to those who buy one of its townhouses in the city of Málaga.
The four-bedroom homes, which can be found in the exclusive development of Terrazas de Miraflores in the neighbourhood of El Palo, cost 780,000 euros.
And for this you also get an apartment in Bavaria Golf, near Torre del Mar.
The company announced its offer on the first day of the Simed real estate fair at the port of Málaga.
“We want to do this to know how much demand we can create,” said Salsa sales director, Fernando Villegas.
The same company is also offering apartments in the resort of Torremolinos for 165,000 euros while another real estate company, Alei, has reduced the price of its Málaga homes by as much as 20 per cent.
The same company is offering let-to-buy deals on beachfront homes in Chilches, near Rincon de la Victoria. If a home-buyer agrees to rent one of the houses for 500 euros a month, within two years they can buy the property for a vastly reduced price.
According to figures, house purchases have fallen by 70 per cent in the past 12 months. There are currently 24,000 empty homes along the Costa del Sol.
