Briton in Prison threat for leaving baby in car

by

A BRITISH man who left his baby son in a parked car for 40 minutes is facing prison.

Malaga prosecutor have charged the man with abandoning his 14 month old son after he left him to await the arrival of a friend at Malaga’s Terminal 2.

The Briton, who lives on the Costa del Sol, had left the car locked and all the windows closed.

But the cries of the child alerted a security guard, who quickly called the police.

It is not the first time a British man has been charged with abandoning his child in a car.

In 2002 a British tourist was arrested after he left his baby in the car for four hours, while he went swimming and sunbathing off La Malagueta beach, in Malaga.

The 20-month old child had to be hospitalised suffering from dehydration.
