Expat vote is “important”

DAVID Cameron has stressed the importance of the expatriate vote in the upcoming British general election.

UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown confirmed an election would take place on May 6.

And in an interview with radio station Talk Radio Europe Cameron explained: “It’s an important vote, the expat vote.

“We’ve got a website called www.dontleaveyourvoteathome.com so do log on and see what you can do to make sure you have your vote.”

The closest election in almost 20 years will be the first to feature television debates between the leaders of the three main parties.
