A girl gives birth aged 10

A 10-YEAR-OLD girl has become the youngest mum in Andalucia after giving birth in Jerez, Cadiz.

Both mother and baby are said to be in good health and have been discharged from the city’s hospital, returning home to her Romanian family.

Community social services in Jerez will monitor the case.

It is yet to be decided if a police investigation will look into the matter of the conception.
