John Hamilton, 54, had been on the run since being convicted two years ago for his part in the fraud, in which he acted as an accomplice to psychic conman George Lavery.
The pair tricked Simon Trussell into handing over more than 12,000 euros after he had approached them for help in winning back his ex-girlfriend.
