Bald Spanish lottery star turns to teaching

MILLIONS of Spaniards would recognise his bald head a mile off.

Now the pate-less Englishman, who became a well known face in Spain for his role in the Christmas Lottery adverts, is back – but this time to teach English.

Clive Arrindell starred in ads for Spain’s largest lottery, El Gordo, for eight years running, but was dropped in 2006 after bosses decided he had become too popular.

The classical actor has now travelled to Valencia to record two instructive videos for English teachers.

In the films, he discusses using Shakespeare and storytelling to teach English.

The videos will be used for Valencia International University’s online learning courses.
