A NIFTY electronic device can save motorists up to 10 per cent on petrol bills.
In fantastic news for those feeling the pinch in the recession, the Viabtor slots into your car’s cigarette lighter socket and immediately reduces your fuel consumption.
As less fuel is used, there is less CO2 emitted, which is great for the environment.
The device works by stabilising the car’s electrical flow, optimising the engine’s combustion process.
Ultimately it means the car needs less fuel to go, saving on average 10 per cent of your fuel bill.
While performance depends on the model, the highest saving recorded is a massive 16.44 per cent which was achieved in a Mercedes CLK.
Factors such as speed, open windows, air conditioning and weather can also affect the total amount of fuel saved.

With two misleading advertising complaints made against this product and the manufacturers upheld by the ASA I’m suprised your not also offering ATSC Ltd’s ADE 651s.
Seriously, although I’m sure your moderation/censorship guidelines will ensure you don’t publish this, why are you publishing things that open you up to ridicule and erode any readership confidence in your journalistic standards?
Hi Ben,
There are numerous online reports backing up Viabtor’s claims this gadget saves to 10 per cent on fuel bills, which the OP vetted before publication – although as stated above it depends on the model of the car as well as various other factors.
We hope the winners of the competition will let us know how much they save.
Ben: It certainly eroded my confidence, especially when my (polite) comment was blocked.
