MISS Gibraltar, Maroua Kharbouch, won the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Miss World beauty pageant held in Jakarta on Saturday night.

Although the title of Miss World went to Miss Philippines, Megan Young, Maroua won the People’s Choice Award and qualified among the final ten as a wildcard after having the most votes via the Miss World App!

  1. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I thought there were many beautiful ladies and there were any one of them who could have become Miss World 2013.

Pity “religion” had to creep in and spoil things. How on earth can you judge a figure wrapped up in a sarong!

Beautiful as Indonesia is, no marks for not doing their homework on the choice of venue. Everything should have been taken into account.

Congratulations to the winner! Well done to all!

The best of the show for me was seeking Miss Gibraltar and Miss Spain holding hands in front stage! Lesson to all.
