Spain may back agriculture projects in disaster-stricken Philippines

SPAIN is hoping to support agricultural projects in conflict and disaster-stricken areas in the Philippines.

Alberto Virella, the director of the Spanish Agency for International Development Co-operation (AECID), is considering the proposal.

AECID has previously funded two projects in the Bicol and Caraga regions of the Philippines, boosting livelihood and marine management activities.
