Mijas park vandalised

MIJAS local police are investigating an act of premeditated vandalism in the Osunillas park.

The culprit, who struck late last night, destroyed plants, smashed the automatic watering system used a saw to cut trees.

The damage totals €500.

“This is an act of environmental terrorism,” said a town councillor. “We’ll never arrive at an understanding as to what these vandals had against the plants.”

Police ask for the public’s help in solving the crime. They can be contacted anonymously at 9524608 08 and 952460909.
