Spain to issue more casino licences

SPAIN’S gambling regulator is to issue more new casino licences to boost the nation’s dwindling online market.

The Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling website stated that applications will open for operators who currently hold different gambling licences and operators not currently active in Spain.

According to a recent report, 43% of online gamblers in Spain use websites not registered with the gambling authorities.
