Alzheimer’s can be prevented by Mediterranean diet

Med Diet

Med-DietA MEDITERRANEAN diet containing fruit, vegetables, olive oil and fish can stave off Alzheimer’s, a new study claims.

The Columbia University report says the lack of red meat and dairy products may be linked to losing fewer brain cells as people age.

The findings, published by the Neurology journal, show those eating a Mediterranean diet have a larger brain volume than those who don’t.

  1. Don’t why research on worth of Mediterranean diet keeps being done. Nobody ever wrote that it was wrong or dangerous but the majority of Spaniards driving for the American dream on films dropped and dropped the growing of the naturally grown foods required and the extent of daily exercise for which it was originally developed. The valley where I live has caves at each where early humans lived 27,000 and 25,000 years ago. It took mankind almost 30,000 years to tame the valley and use the land productively. All has been almost ambandoned in under 30 years!!

  3. Ok, looks like something went awry this time lol, but I can recommend Dick’s online gardening resources, see: “http://blogs.angloinfo.com/your-garden-in-spain/”
