Catalan pharmacists blast government over unpaid medical debt

MedicineCATALAN health authorities have admitted they don’t have enough money to pay for medicines.

The Council of Catalan Pharmacists criticised the ‘huge instability’, with the Generalitat unable to pay for the third consecutive month.

The debt owed by the Generalitat for outstanding medical supplies is now more than €330 million, the largest since 2013.
