THE boyfriend of the brutally murdered director of Nerja Caves has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.
Barman Francisco Martinez has been found guilty of murder after stabbing Ana Marquez 131 times with a broken bottle at her Torrox home.
He had previously claimed that a drug-induced mental illness had led him to carry out the horrific attack, leaving him with no memory of it.
However, a psychiatrist’s report found Martinez to be depressive but found no psychotic tendencies or mental illness pasterns.
