Andalucia attracts record number of golf tourists from Asia

ASIAN tourists have their sights set on Andalucia’s fairways and greens.

A record number of golf packages for the Spring have already been signed up in Asia, according to the national tourism sector.

There is a 37% increase in Asian golfing tourists heading to the south of Spain in 2016, with 66% of them coming from China.

Japanese tourists also make up a high proportion, with 27% coming from the land of the rising sun.
