Spain’s car rental price drives ahead at €13 per day

Car hire in SpainSPAIN is driving ahead when it comes to car-hire prices.

A new study shows Spain is behind only Croatia and Portugal when it comes to renting a vehicle in Europe, with an average price per day of €12.86.

Valencia was the cheapest city in Spain at €6.94 per day, according to price comparison site Happy Car.

Alicante was second cheapest at €7.57 with a car in Malaga costing €11.94 per day.

The report looked at bookings made for 20 countries and 250 cities from November 2015 to March 2016.
