Dozens of Spanish flights cancelled following French air strikes

THOUSANDS of passengers are facing travel chaos after a strike by French traffic controllers.

One hundred and ninety two flights to Spain have been cancelled as up to 40% of all flights to and from were France grounded.

Alicante (30 cancellations), Palma (28), Málaga (18) and Sevilla (8) have been hit hardest during the two-day dispute.

Passengers have been advised to check with their airline before travelling to their airports.
