Spain voted top ERASMUS destination with three cities in the top 10

Spain-2-best-studentsSPAIN has been voted the number one destination for ERASMUS students, with Madrid, Sevilla and Barcelona all featuring in the top 10.

A new poll of ERASMUS students by Uniplaces revealed Madrid as the number one location, with Sevilla in fifth and Barcelona in seventh.

Cities were judged on areas such as culture, nightlife and cost of living.

ERASMUS is a student exchange programme, set up in 1987, that sees students study for a year abroad.

Spain had the most top-rated study abroad destinations, with pollsters praising its good nightlife, quality of life and low prices.

Laurence Dollimore

Laurence Dollimore is a Spanish-speaking, NCTJ-trained journalist with almost a decade’s worth of experience.
The London native has a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds and and an MA in the same subject from Queen Mary University London.
