ALBERTO Contador has demanded that riders caught mechanical doping should be banned for life.
The two-time Tour de France winner was speaking out after recent allegations that cyclists were using motors in their bikes.
Contador said: “First there was the fight against doping. Now the affair of mechanical fraud.
“A lifetime suspension must be the only verdict. No pardon.”

The batteries are inside the tubing, that’s why they are hard to detect.
