TWO Brits have been detained following the hit and run of a South American woman in San Pedro de Alcantara on Monday.
The victim, who is said to have been struck by a Bentley with a UK number plate, was rushed to hospital.
She died from cardiac arrest shortly after arriving.
The pair have yet to be identified but the suspected driver is understood to have failed a breath test.
The 40-year-old victim is believed to have been thrown 100ft when the Bentley hit her at speed.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm before the pair were later arrested at a bar in Estepona.
The victim has not been identified.
What a pig. Let’s hope his apparent wealth doesn’t save him from a good, long stretch.
