DRONE racing has debuted in Spain at the National Open drone race in Galicia.

With the help of an attached video camera, pilots steer their flying machines around an obstacle-laden course.

Specially designed head gear gives a first-hand perspective of the view from the drone, which can reach speeds of up to 130km/hour.

Drone racing continues to grow worldwide, particularly in the US, where there is a Drone Racing League.
