saleTHE Government is set to give thousands of euros to young people to help them get on the property ladder.

Requirements for the grants include being under 35 years old and on a monthly income of less than €1,600.

The measure aims to boost property purchases in the country after fiscal aid was scrapped in 2013.

There are fears the housing market could eventually implode again if young adults are not given the chance to own their first home.

  1. Good news for Spanish banks! (Where also many useless policticians are dumped in many managers offices.) The young get a half year contract or so, then take a mortgage, then get let off, then the bank can call in the loan, take all of the state subsidies given, and put the young back at home with the parents.
This is how politicians finance their future, even while working outside politics.

Did anybody notice how many many many bank braches there are in Spain? Evereywhere, all over the place? While most is doen online these days? They are being financed buy “giving” subsidies to young Spaniards. Yeah, right.
