Estepona’s Atalaya Park hotel to receive €18 million makeover

estepona-hotelMELIA hotels is to give Estepona’s Atalaya Park Hotel an €18 million makeover.

The four-star hotel will become a Sol by Melia hotel and is said to become one of the ‘leading resorts on the Costa del Sol’.

It will come complete with 468 rooms with six restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool and a heated pool, playground and children’s activities, gym, and a wide range of sports facilities, including a golf driving range.

Atalaya Park will fall under Melia management in 2018.

Laurence Dollimore

Laurence Dollimore is a Spanish-speaking, NCTJ-trained journalist with almost a decade’s worth of experience.
The London native has a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds and and an MA in the same subject from Queen Mary University London.
He earned his gold star diploma in multimedia journalism at the prestigious News Associates in London in 2016, before immediately joining the Olive Press at their offices on the Costa del Sol.
