WARNING: Orange weather alert issued for Costa del Sol as heavy rainfall and storms predicted

SPAIN’S weather agency AEMET has issued an orange warning in Malaga for tomorrow.

The whole province, including the Costa del Sol, is expected to see heavy downpours and storms.

The notice will be active from three in the morning until six in the afternoon.

The Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce can expect to receive up to 80 litres of rain per square meter in just 12 hours.

The same situation is expected to occur in the Axarquía, where the orange warning will be activated between six in the morning eight in the evening.
