October passenger numbers up by 7.5% at Malaga airport as almost two million people pass through

ALMOST two million passengers went through Malaga airport last month.

The figure is a 7.1% increase on September and a 7.5% on October last year.

Of the 1,833,589 passengers, the majority flew on international flights (1,615,853).

That’s a 6.3% increase on last year.

The more than 200,000 remaining passengers flew in between Spanish cities, a 14.5% increase on 2016.
