Seven migrants rescued in the Strait on Christmas Day - Olive Press News Spain

THE migrant crisis saw no letting up over the festive period, with seven people rescued in the Strait of Gibraltar on Christmas Day.

The migrants were rescued from their makeshift vessel after a search by the Spanish maritime rescue services and a helicopter.

They were transferred to the port of Tarifa for processing.
