Young woman arrested after ‘stabbing man in face with fork’ in Gibraltar’s Ocean Village

‘STABBED’: A woman was arrested yesterday in Gibraltar over the alleged fork attack

A WOMAN has been arrested after a man was ‘stabbed in the face with a fork’ at lunchtime.

Fatima Ech Chalh, 23, was accused of plunging a utensil into the face of a 40-year-old man yesterday.

Police cuffed her in Gibraltar’s Ocean Village, after her alleged victim flagged down cops on Waterport Roadway.

RGP officers transferred the woman to Royal Gibraltar Police Headquarters.

She was charged with wounding, and spent the night in a cell, before her appearance in  Magistrates’ Court this morning.

The man’s injuries are not serious and he was not admitted to hospital.
