Wanted wedding planner Dana Twidale who ‘cheated happy couples of thousands’ spotted sunbathing in Benidorm swimming pool

A DISGRACED wedding planner wanted by Humberside Police has been spotted ‘sunning herself’ in a Benidorm swimming pool.

Dana Twidale, believed to be 42, was photographed at the Apartamentos Acuarium II in and around the community pool in August.

The mum-of-four is facing nine counts of fraud in the UK after allegedly cheating happy couples of ‘tens of thousands of pounds’ for weddings and services that never materialised.

“The pictures are 100 percent Dana,” Dana’s husband, Carl Twidale, told the Olive Press

“They were sent to me from a girl holidaying around the same pool with her family.”

Twidale was able to identify Dana through her tattoos.

The barber from Hull was defrauded of over £4,000 during his three-year marriage with Dana, before separating in 2017.

He’s only this year become aware of a ‘web of lies’ from the alleged con-artist.

“She has affected dozens of people, stealing tens of thousands,” Twidale said.

“At this point, my main concern is getting Dana’s second-youngest daughter back safely.

“The 18-year-old is going through sexual transition and is vulnerable.

“She has been missing for around six weeks and is believed to be with Dana.

“The police can then deal with my wife.”

‘WEB OF LIES’: Carl Twidale claims he has been defrauded of £4,000 by Dana, whom he is divorcing

Humberside Police believe Dana fled the UK after scores of people came forward claiming they had been conned.

One couple from Harrogate were left in turmoil when Dana allegedly went missing 24 hours before their big day in late July.

Nicky Thorpe says she paid ‘well over £2,000’ but was distraught to find an empty marquee two days before her wedding, she told Leeds Live.

A Facebook group called People affected by Dana Twidale the wedding planner help and support has since amassed over 800 members.

Many have lost up to ‘£3,000’ for everything from cakes to photographers to white lanterns and decorations.

GONE: Dana Twidale’s flat in Hull is empty as Humberside Police believe she is no longer in the UK

Another victim, Nigel Wainwright, claimed he met Dana on Tinder before she conned him into paying for Dana’s mother’s funeral – while her mother was still alive.

“I can’t and will not rest until she is in police custody care of HMP,” Carl said.

“It’s not right what she has done to so many. Who knows how much money she has amassed?

“There are already over nine cases of fraud against her. She will be found and brought to pay for her crimes.”

It is not yet clear where Dana has gone, or if she is still in Spain.

If you have any information please contact Humberside Police quoting the reference  ref-609-2607. Carl’s Action Fraud number is NFRC190703118931.
