Irishman with dementia who was missing FOUND ‘safe and well’ on Spain’s Costa del Sol

SAFE: Holidaymaker Duncan Crozier-Shaw, 67, has been found unharmed

A MISSING Irishman who suffers from dementia and epilepsy has been found safe and sound, his family has said.

Duncan Crozier-Shaw, 67, was on holiday when he vanished from El Corte Ingles in Mijas Costa on Wednesday.

The holidaymaker was last spotted wearing a pink polo shirt with green stripes, before he vanished near El Corte Ingles in Mijas Costa.

In a statement, Geoff Crozier-Shaw said: “Duncan found safe and well tonight in Spain.

“Huge thanks to everyone that has helped with finding him, everyone that shared a post and liked a picture, everyone who called offering support.

“The Irish community at home and abroad have been extraordinary, my family and I have been truly touched by all the help, well wishes and support.

“Thanks to the Guardia Civil, the Garda Siochana, the embassy staff and those in the Department of Foreign Affairs for all their help.

“Chloe, Paul, Karl, Simon and Dawn were all a huge support to my family on the ground in Spain and sincerest thanks to them all.”
