MALAGA province is set to see warmer temperatures from today and throughout the weekend.

According to weather agency AEMET, there will be no rainfall until Monday and the mercury will reach higher than average for this time of year.

Today will see highs of around 23C while on Saturday that will jump to around 25C.

It will drop a little lower on Sunday but is likely to remain in the 20s.

Monday, fittingly, will bring fresh bouts of rain and thunder.

However there is no risk of flooding, according to AEMET, which has not issued any weather warnings.
