A BRITISH dad has drowned while holidaying with pals on the Costa del Sol.

His body was found by a local, who had gone to get his boat ready to go sailing at the town’s marina.

The Lancashire family man’s death is not believed to be suspicious, although a local judge is still carrying out a routine investigation, according to the SunOnline.

Andrew was first reported missing on Saturday morning, after disappearing hours earlier.

He and a group of friends, who notified the Policia Nacional that Andrew had vanished, were due to fly home on Sunday.

An autopsy showed that Andrew had sustained chest arm injuries, where he is thought to have tried to pull himself out of the water.

Andrew’s brother, nephew and son are believed to have travelled to Spain to organise having his body repatriated.

Meanwhile, tributes have flooded in for the Bolton man, who has been described as ‘one in a million’.

Jade Glendening, was one of many people paying her respects, as she said: “Rest in peace Andy Wallace. Lovely man. Sending lots of love to the family.”
