Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale in talks with Spurs for move back to UK

WELSHMAN Gareth Bale’s greatest wish is to return to his former club Tottenham Hostpur, his agent has revealed.

Jonathan Barnett told reporters that Real Madrid and Spurs are now in talks to settle a deal after the player’s seven years in Spain, much to the delight of betting-eager Brits.

On return, Bale would play under manager Jose Mourinho after being frozen out of the first team at Real Madrid by Zinedine Zidane.

At 30 years old, Bale moved from the North London club to play for Real Madrid in La Liga in 2013 for the world record fee of €100m.

In his time playing at the Bernabéu, Real Madrid have won four Champions League titles, two La Ligas and a Copa del Rey.

No fee has been put forward for the transfer but the club’s have historically had a mutually beneficial relationship when it comes to reshuffling players.
