A MAN who stole a pack of macaroni bolognese from a Valencia grocery store is facing 26 months behind bars.

The thief, who has a criminal record, asked an assistant for the pasta at the store on Valencia City’s Calle Doctor Lluch.

As the worker was about to hand over the €2 pack, the macaroni was snatched away from him and the customer fled.
