A WOMAN wanted by Turkey on charges of being a member of an armed terrorist organisation has been arrested by the Policia Nacional at a Benidorm hotel.
Though born in Turkey, she had become a Belgian citizen and an International Arrest Warrant was issued against her by Interpol in 2019.

The 49-year-old faces six years and three months in prison if convicted.
She is accused of being a member of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party(PKK)- a banned group within Turkey.
The suspect took part in PKK activities in Romania in 1997 and also lived in Bulgaria and Greece.
She was also spent time involved with the group in Syria
The woman appeared before a Benidorm court and was jailed pending the National Court in Madrid handling her extradition to Turkey.
