Revealed: The most expensive street on Spain’s Costa Blanca where homes sell for an average of €4million

THE most expensive street to buy a house in the Valencian Community has been revealed to be in the luxury Altea Hills urbanisation on the Costa Blanca.

Calle Las Ramblas also boasts- at €10 million- the most expensive property on the market in the region.

With panoramic views of the sea, the road has an average €4 million asking price for a villa according to a study from the idealista property portal.

It topples Calle Los Jazmines in Benitatxell which came top of the survey last year.

Prices on Calle Las Ramblas range between €2 million and a top-end €10 million for a villa covering 1,802 m2 on a 8,581 m2 piece of land which comes with several homes.

The main house is built in a classic style and consists of a spacious living room, dining room, separate kitchen, five bedrooms with four bathrooms and a dressing room, with terraces and “impressive views of the sea, the mountains and of Altea’s ‘old town’.

The ground floor has a guest apartment with a separate entrance, consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom.

From the main house you enter through a glazed hall to the right wing of the house, built in 2009 and in a modern style.

There is a large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and two offices that can be converted into additional bedrooms.

There is also a cinema room, a wine cellar and another guest apartment with a separate entrance consisting of a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Surrounding the entire house is a Mediterranean garden with various types of plants and natural grass, as well as a large swimming pool surrounded by a terrace and a tennis court.

Next to the pool there is another building with a bar, kitchen, living room, bedroom, two bathrooms and a sauna.

The house is equipped with gas underfloor heating, built-in air conditioning and 30KW solar panels to provide electricity and hot water.

In addition, there are covered and uncovered parking spaces for more than 10 cars.

Slightly cheaper at €8.5 million is a property on a 3,000 m2 plot.

It boasts seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms with goodies including Finnish and Turkish saunas, a jacuzzi, a gym, an indoor swimming pool, and a games room.

And lastly- at a mere snip of €4 million- is a three-floor villa with seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a garage that can fit eight cars and several motorcycles.
