WATCH: Shocking moment TV cameras stationed above road in central Spain capture mass pile-up live

A LIVE news broadcast turned into a dramatic scene on Thursday afternoon when TV cameras captured the moment a crash unfolded on a major road in Toledo.

The incident happened on the A-5 near Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) heading towards Badajoz. 

Despite the alarming scenes, early reports confirmed that no injuries were recorded.

The accident occurred shortly before 2:30pm on Holy Thursday, as a CMM journalist was carrying out a live report.

A loud skid could be heard during the broadcast, immediately drawing attention to the road.

One vehicle suddenly braked, obstructing traffic. 

A second car swerved to avoid it, but a third vehicle failed to react in time and crashed into it, triggering a collision with the other car.

Moments later, several vehicles with their emergency lights on were seen slowing down on screen.

Cameraman David Martin captured the shocking moment a car crashed into two other vehicles.

Several people were seen getting out of their cars, checking on those involved in the accident.

The cause of the initial skid remains unclear.
