AN incredible 45 victims have joined an action group against an expat car dealer in southern Spain.

They all claim to have been scammed by the dodgy Dutchman to the tune of ‘around €1 million or more’.

They have appealed to The Olive Press to expose the exploits of Alex Danckaert, who is based out of a workshop in Coin, near Malaga.

The Dutchman is already involved in ‘multiple’ legal battles, The Olive Press understands.

Fouhad Bistrioui was scammed out of thousands.

The victims include pensioners, housewives and nationals from over a dozen countries.

They include Belgian Fouhad Bistrioui, who bought a luxury Mercedes from the dealer in 2023 only to discover it had been stolen a few months earlier.

He told the Olive Press he only discovered the theft when police knocked on his door in August 2024.

They told him the white GLE 500, which he bought for €24,000, was actually stolen from a pensioner, Frits Keijer.

Even worse, the 80-year-old Dutchman had actually paid Danckaert €35,000 to import the car from Belgium to Spain.

“My whole world came crashing down,” Fouhad, a baker, explained.

“I had to sell my family baking business in Belgium just to support my family after being conned. To realise I’d been tricked was devastating.”

Fouhad sold his family business following the scam.

He has since called in lawyers and is taking Danckaert to court in Coin.

Meanwhile, two other victims told us they were also scammed by Danckeart, who runs a workshop in Coin industrial estate.

They include Marko Vlaskamp, 61, from Holland, who discovered Danckaert was secretly renting out his car while it was in the workshop for repairs.

He claims he only found out when he saw the Jeep Wrangler, driving round Coin and followed it until it stopped.

“I asked the family why they had it and they told me they had rented it,” he explained.

“He makes me ashamed to be Dutch,” Vlaskamp said, “He needs to be stopped.”

Just weeks ago father-of-two Bart Kessler, 31, discovered his family had been driving on fake license plates provided by Danckaert for €1,300.

He told The Olive Press he had paid the Dutchman to have his plates transferred into Spanish ones.

“I only found out when I was stopped by police,” Kessler revealed.

Spokesman for the group Dragan Zivkovic, 48, told The Olive Press, “We are desperate for any form of justice.

“While we’ve accepted the money is likely gone, we are determined to ensure no one else becomes a victim,” he continued.

Danckeart responded to the claims telling The Olive Press they were ‘absolutely not true’.

“I am in court with Fouhad and cannot comment any more,” he added.

He insisted the group of victims, ‘just wants to destroy my reputation.’
