THIS is the concerning moment a powerful blaze broke out at a high-end apartment complex located in Gibraltar’s sought-after Ocean Village marina.

Firefighters were called to Ocean Spa Plaza on Bayside Road early this morning after reports of a fire.

Alarming footage posted on social media shows bright-orange flames tearing through one of the higher floors of the residential complex.

Traffic was stopped on Glacis Road and Bayside Road as firefighters fought to contain the inferno.

The roads have since been reopened, according to Royal Gibraltar Police.

There are no reports of any casualties.

The latest incident comes just days after the Hotel Ibis in Malaga was gutted by flames, sparking fears that the doomed building could collapse.

Spanish firefighters have struggled to contain the flames over recent days with four hidden hotspots reactivating since the initial catastrophic inferno struck last week.
