THE Policia Nacional have recovered a large number of rare Lego collectables stolen from a house in the Torrellano district of Elche.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested at a pawn shop in connection with the robbery.
The police said that the Lego collection was worth over €10,000.

The victim owned a shop that specialised in selling such goods and stored various collector’s items at home.
According to investigators, the arrested man was a neighbour and was well aware of the Lego rarities being kept in the property.
The police managed to retrieve a large proportion of the stolen goods in two second-hand shops and in the detainee’s home.
He staged the robbery in late May after gaining access by smashing a window and helping himself to the Lego sets.
The owner had meticulously catalogued all of the times and said that some of them were so exclusive that it was virtually impossible for a private individual in Spain to own such a diverse collection.
The thief was identified after what police described as a ‘mass’ sale of the stolen goods in an Elche pawn shop.
A second-hand store in Alicante also received Lego items from the same man.
Officers went to both shops and removed the collectables and returned them to the owner.
The thief was then caught red-handed trying to sell 11 Lego sets at an outlet- and those items were alsoreturned.
The Policia Nacional is still trying to recover the rest of the stolen items.
