VALENCIA region president, Juanfran Perez Llorca, has offered help to his Andalucian counterpart over the forest fire in Almeria.
Perez Llorca spoke to Juanma Moreno on Friday to pass on ‘all the support of the Valencian Community’.
He added that manpower from the region is available to help in the Almeria municipality of Los Gallardos.

The Valencian president disclosed his offer during a news conference in La Nucia where his regional cabinet were holding a meeting.
As of 7am on Friday, the forest fire has left 11 dead and eight injured, four of them seriously, according to the latest official update from Andalucian authorities.
Four of the victims were British nationals who were found lifeless in their car.
Perez Llorca also sent ‘a message of condolence to the relatives of the people who have died due to the tragic fire in Almeria province’.
“All our love, support, and solidarity go out to the families and loved ones of the victims. May they rest in peace.”
The president continued: “We are experiencing a very difficult time due to the high temperatures.”
“It is very important to follow the advice of the State security forces and bodies and that people should always get information via official channels”.
He also warned about possible fires in Valencia: “It is true that temperatures have dropped a little, but they are still high temperatures.”
“There is a maximum risk of fires also in the Valencian Community and, therefore, I ask for great caution.”
